ADAS Camera Location
The Model 3 has cameras integrated into the windshield header and rear glass. We mapped all camera locations before cutting any film — XPEL XR Plus is ADAS-safe, but precise installation around camera zones is critical.
Panoramic Roof Section
The panoramic roof is the most impactful section. Applied as a single piece at 50% shade — light enough to maintain visibility, dark enough to cut solar heat load significantly.
Rear & Side Glass
All rear and side glass installed at 20%. The Model 3's rear glass has a significant curve that requires careful heat-shrinking to conform without wrinkles.
Windshield Strip
A 6-inch ceramic strip was applied along the top of the windshield for additional sun visor protection — a popular add-on for Texas drivers.
Cure & Delivery
Owner briefed on 3-day cure period. No window rolling, no car washes for 72 hours.
