Paint Protection Film
A matte black Lamborghini Urus is the definition of presence — and matte paint is the most unforgiving finish in the automotive world. A single rock chip on matte paint cannot be touched up. The Process
Matte Paint Assessment
Matte paint cannot be corrected after PPF installation — any swirls or contamination are locked in permanently. We performed a thorough inspection and light decontamination before touching the surface.

XPEL Stealth is specifically engineered for matte finishes — it matches the texture and light diffusion of factory matte paint. Using a standard gloss PPF on matte paint would create visible sheen variation.
Panel-by-Panel Installation
Each panel was installed individually with careful attention to sheen consistency. Matte film is more sensitive to squeegee pressure and heat than gloss film — technique matters more on every section.
Complex Geometry Sections
The Urus has aggressive body lines, large wheel arches, and a complex rear diffuser. Each required custom-cut sections with precise seam placement to maintain the matte look.
4-Day Completion & Cure
The full exterior took four days to complete properly. After installation, the car sat in our controlled bay for 48 hours to allow full adhesive cure before delivery.
Why It Matters
Matte paint is irreparable without a full respray. A single rock chip on a Lamborghini Urus in Nero Noctis would require repainting the entire panel — a $3,000+ repair.
