El Proceso
Wash & Iron Decontamination
Full wash followed by iron remover to dissolve embedded brake dust and ferrous contamination. The M3's large brake rotors shed significant iron particles that embed in the paint.
Stage 1 Paint Correction
Heavy cutting compound on a machine polisher to remove the dealer swirl marks and any deeper scratches. Each panel inspected under LED lighting to confirm swirl removal.
Stage 2 Refinement
Fine polish to refine the finish after the cutting stage. This step maximizes gloss and removes any micro-marring left by the cutting compound.
IPA Panel Wipe
All panels wiped with isopropyl alcohol to remove all polish oils and residue. The coating bonds to bare paint — any contamination prevents proper adhesion and reduces durability.
XPEL Fusion Plus Application
Coating applied panel by panel, allowed to flash, then leveled. Temperature and humidity monitored throughout. Car sat in our bay for 24 hours before delivery.
Por Qué Importa
Portimao Blue is a special-order color that adds cost to the car and is one of the first things buyers notice. Swirl marks from car washes and dealer prep dull the color and reduce the depth that makes the color special. Paint correction removes those swirls permanently, and ceramic coating prevents new ones from forming. The hydrophobic properties also mean the car is significantly easier to maintain — dirt and water bead off instead of bonding to the surface.
