El Proceso
Paint Inspection & Surface Prep
The original Cashmere Silver paint was inspected for any chips or damage that could telegraph through the film. Surface was clay-barred and IPA-wiped across all panels.
Panel Disassembly
Door handles, trim pieces, and mirror caps were removed to allow the film to wrap cleanly behind them — no visible edges at high-traffic areas.
Hood Center Crease
The G70's pronounced hood crease is the most technically demanding section. Film was applied wet, positioned, then heat-formed along the crease line to eliminate any tension or lifting.
Full Panel Wrap
Each panel was wrapped individually — roof, doors, fenders, bumpers, trunk. Matte film requires careful squeegee technique to avoid marring the finish during installation.
Reassembly & Inspection
All trim pieces were reinstalled. Final inspection under LED lighting confirmed uniform matte finish with no sheen variations, no tension lines, and no visible seams.
